Kash transferred from Texas to Texas Tech in 2023 and had one of the better offensive seasons in college baseball. He hit .326/.397/.689 and tied for fifth in the country with 26 home runs after playing in just 15 games for Texas the season prior. A 6-foot-3, 210-pound first baseman, Kash feasts on fastballs and had no difficulty with 92+ mph velocity in 2023. He posted a 1.347 OPS against fastballs overall and a 1.247 OPS against pitches thrown 92 mph or harder. Kash has shown the ability to homer to all fields, though he could stand to improve his approach against secondaries, his swing decisions and there are some scouts who are a bit more skeptical of the swing itself while others think he’s a definite day one sort of hitter.
