A big 6-foot-5, 220-pound lefty, Drake has been a consistent force for Walters State (Tenn.) JC for two seasons. He went 14-0, 1.93 this year and was named the NJCAA Pitcher of the Year. Drake mixes three pitches. His 90-93 mph fastball generates excellent spin rates. He also will mix in a curve and changeup, and has command of all three pitches.
