Horn is a two-way player with experience on the mound and at shortstop. As a pitcher, he’s an athletic righthander who throws strikes with a lively, tailing fastball that’s up to 92 mph. Horn’s changeup has good action and plays well off his fastball, diving and running away from lefties, and he has a solid curveball for his age as well. At the plate, Horn is a lefthanded hitter who keeps his hands inside the ball well and shows flashes of over-the-fence power that should continue to grow as he fills out his 6-foot-2 frame.
